Diane Gilmour
Diane has been involved with AfPP since 1992 (NATN as it was then) having served on local and national committees before being elected as a trustee in 2005. In January 2009 Diane took over as President of the Association. Diane has led for the Association on decontamination and other infection control issues. She has presented nationally and internationally and published widely contributing to many of the AfPP publications.
Diane has worked within the perioperative environment for over 20 years enjoying a wide variety of clinical, managerial and educational roles. Since November 2007 she has worked for West Sussex Primary Care Trust as Area Manager leading a team supporting GP’s and other health professionals in the redesigning of services for patients enabling “Care closer to home” including minor surgery. Diane lives in Crawley with her husband Robin and son David.
