3M AfPP Academy- professional development programme

The 3M AfPP Academy

3M is committed to supporting education and training of healthcare practitioners. In order to ensure its support continues to add maximum value, it is currently conducting extensive research, with the support of AfPP, to best understand the preferences and needs of its members' continuing professional development. As a consequence the existing 3M AfPP Academy programme will not be launched for 2012 whilst evaluation and future shaping of its support is undertaken. 3M is looking forward to communicating a new education programme in 2012.

“ I feel greatly privileged to have been chosen to attend this Academy course which I am convinced will enhance my continuing development; my patient care standards and my effectiveness at work.”

Charina Miranda - Past Winner 2010

“The 3M Academy is a excellent opportunity for practitioners to develop and enhance skills that can be implemented in the workplace and ultimately improve patient care. As a young practitioner hoping to maximise career potential, the workshops focus on key areas required to progress in this occupation and I feel through the academy I will benefit both professionally and personally and as a result become a more effective practitioner. I am really looking forward to attending the Academy over the next year and feel lucky to be given the opportunity to attend such an established course.”
