Judging

Winners are selected by the review panel of the Journal of Perioperative Practice.

Each judge will mark individually.

In order to select the winner each review panel member is asked to choose what they consider to be the best three articles written by a novice author from the previous year’s volume of the JPP and rank them with a numerical score (1-3). When all the review panel members' choices are totalled then there is usually a clear winner. The award will be presented at AfPP2011 on Wednesday 19 October.
