ENTRY REQUIREMENTAll levels of Operating Room Personnel are welcome.
SUMMARY

     To increase participant knowledge and understanding of fracture management, the healing process of bone and how this is affected by surgical intervention

     To develop and improve participant skills using AO instruments and implants on synthetic bone models

At the end of the course participants should be able to:

     Show an understanding of the basic principles associated with operative management of fractures

     Demonstrate the correct/safe use of instruments and implants

     State the importance of delivering total patient care as part of the multi-disciplinary team
