| ENTRY REQUIREMENT | All levels of Operating Room Personnel are welcome. |
| SUMMARY | • To increase participant knowledge and understanding of fracture management, the healing process of bone and how this is affected by surgical intervention • To develop and improve participant skills using AO instruments and implants on synthetic bone models At the end of the course participants should be able to: • Show an understanding of the basic principles associated with operative management of fractures • Demonstrate the correct/safe use of instruments and implants • State the importance of delivering total patient care as part of the multi-disciplinary team |
