A sign of change

A sign of change . . .
Over the coming months there will be many visible signs of the changes that are taking place within AfPP – and the first of these is our new logo. It is essential that a logo works hard for any organisation by:·
- Being instantly recognisable
- Representing its vision and values
- Conveying its purpose or objectives
- Being easily understood by individuals both internally and externally.
AfPP exists to promote safer perioperative practice and enhance the care patients receive. Our new logo creates an easily identifiable corporate image with a more relevant and engaging strap line that clearly explains our purpose, whilst preserving AfPP’s corporate colours – the blue and green of perioperative attire. It incorporates a visual image that is more modern and recognisableas a perioperative practitioner.
The new logo will help us:·
- Increase awareness of the organisation
- Reinforce AfPP as the voice of perioperative care
- Create a symbol recognisable to all.
The new logo will be introduced in the most cost-effective manner, allowing us to use up any existing stock with the old logo. This will minimise the cost of introducing the new logo, enabling more of the charity’s funds to be spent on education and CPD.
If you have any comments about the new AfPP logo, or anything else about the Association, please email president@afpp.org.uk.
