Meet The NEW South East Regional Team!

Dear All,
I am writing to introduce myself as the new AfPP South East Region lead member. We have been without a formal regional team for a number of months now, and I hope to be able to resurrect the team for the educational benefit of all members. However, I cannot do this on my own! I would welcome any offers of interest to join the team in order to spread the work load – the more help the better. I would like us to be able to run at least one, possibly two educational events in the coming year.
A bit about me – I am a registered nurse with a background in Orthopaedic & Trauma theatre nursing at Eastbourne DGH. I have now moved into a specialist nurse role with a focus on medical devices teaching, based at the Conquest Hospital Hastings. However, I will always be a theatre practitioner at heart and still work bank shifts in theatre every month. I am currently in the process of completing my MSc in Health & Education with the University of Brighton.
