Testimonials

Sincere thanks to Ethicon for funding my AfPP Congress fees. Receiving this award is very, very much appreciated and I took every opportunity to attend as many lectures and workshops as I could fit into each of the three days. As Clinical Educator, the knowledge that I gained here will not only have a positive impact on my own practice, but I also plan to cascade information down to other members of staff so that this investment will ‘grow’.

To qualify to receive this award perioperative practitioners are required to clearly demonstrate the benefits of undertaking educational activity within perioperative practice development in order to enhance safer contemporary perioperative practice.  Working in an operating theatre can at times be a dynamic and challenging profession. It is essential that perioperative practice is constantly developed and challenged through research and evidence-based practice, which enforces current working practices to remain at the forefront of healthcare improvements.

Receiving this award has been a great encouragement to my personal and professional development by recognising my passion and commitment to the development of the advancing perioperative practitioner role.
