Link members

AfPP Link Members are key links between the association and the perioperative workplace. The Link Member is a designated individual who receives regular mailings with copies of AfPP promotional literature to circulate to colleagues and display in the workplace.

 

Specific duties include: 

• Introducing new staff members to the benefits of AfPP
• If possible, having a section of the coffee room noticeboard for AfPP information
• Requesting new membership forms and information when required
• Giving feedback to AfPP headquarters about how AfPP is perceived in the workplace
• Informing AfPP when a new Link Member is required and suggesting names if possible 

Benefits of being a Link Member include: 

• Being the first to receive AfPP information
• Networking with colleagues
• Link Members receive additional benefits when they attend our annual congress
• Reduced price entry to other events
• Earn points as follows:
  • 5 points for 1 new member = £10 Debenhams voucher
  • 10 points for 2 new members = £20 AfPP book token
  • 15 points for 3 = your AfPP membership free for one year
  • 20 points for 4 = 4 day congress pass
  • 25 points for 5 = 4 day congress pass, gala dinner ticket & VIP tour
