SMART®Anaesthesia course
Structured Management Airway Response Team
Supported by the Difficult Airway Society, UK.

This one day course aims to highlight the importance of:
• Human factors in crisis management.
• Leadership, communication and hierarchical barriers.
• Situational awareness and decision making.
• Briefing and debriefing skills.
• Risk management, avoidance and planning.
Approved for 5 CPD points by the Royal College of Anaesthetists
Course fees: • Anaesthetist (DAS member) or trainee anaesthetist: £150
• Anaesthetist (non DAS member): £175
• Theatre team member: £75
(This fee will be refunded if accompanied by an anaesthetist from the same trust)

Places are limited. Priority will be given to those who register as a team (anaesthetist with theatre staff) from the same NHS trust. However, individual anaesthetists and theatre team members are welcome to apply.
