Shed some light on operating theatre illumination!

The Ergonomics and Safety Research Institute (ESRI) at Loughborough University are undertaking an extensive study into operating theatre lights on behalf of the NHS and are keen to hear what you have to say.

We are interested in the lights used to illuminate the procedure itself, not the ambient or room lighting in the theatre.

The project is aims to provide up-to-date advice to aid the selection and purchase of effective lighting for operating theatres and to help medical professionals do their work more effectively.

We have created a simple and short online questionnaire for you to fill in so that we can collect the views of people who have to actually work with this type of lighting.

The purpose of this questionnaire is to learn about the experiences of medical lighting among operating theatre staff and procurement staff.  Your assistance in completing this short questionnaire would be very helpful to us.

The survey is conducted anonymously although you will have to opportunity to contact us if you would like to discuss our study further.
