Terms and Conditions
By placing your order via the website, you are accepting the following terms and conditions to be entered into between you and the Association for Perioperative Practice (AfPP) of Daisy Ayris House, 42 Freemans Way, Harrogate HG3 1DH.
The Purchaser agrees to be bound by all the terms and conditions of this agreement.
The purchaser agrees that it is enforceable as if it were a written negotiated agreement signed by the Purchaser. If the Purchaser does not agree to the terms of this agreement or if you are not authorised to enter into legally binding contracts on behalf of the Purchaser, do not continue to place an order on this website.

1. These Terms
1.2 Why you should read them. Please read these terms carefully before you submit your order to us. These terms tell you how we will provide the publication to you, how you renew your licence, what to do if there is an issue with the online platform and other important information.
1.3 Are you a paying member, a non-member, or a group member? The cost of the publication will be different depending on your membership type. If you have a group licence it can only be accessed by the individual licence holders.
1.4 Licence Holder passwords and access codes. You will be provided with a password to access the digital platform, this is a protected area and is strictly for the use of the individuals that were issued with the licence, your log in must not be shared with any other person.
1.5 Licence fees. All licence fees are non-refundable.
1.6 Licence holder’s information. Licence holders must inform AfPP of any changes to their contact details. There is a fee of £22.50 to change the email address associated with a licence.
1.7 By placing your order, you are authorising AfPP to contact you for statutory notice purposes by phone, email, or SMS messages.
1.8 When a licence expires (i.e., the licence renewal has not been paid before the licence expiry date) then a new full price licence will be required to re-join.
2. Your Order
2.1 How to place your order. Your order can be placed online through the AfPP website and payment will be taken via a secure payment portal.
2.2 How we will accept your order. Our acceptance of your order will take place when we email you to accept the same, at which point a contract will come into existence between AfPP and you.
2.3 Notification of your order. Upon placing your order via the AfPP website you will receive, within three working days, an email notification providing access to the platform. The email will provide log in details to the digital platform, and you can change the password at any time after the log in if you wish to.
2.4 Completing and submitting an Order over the Website amounts to an offer to contract with AfPP by the Purchaser. Such offer is accepted, and a binding contractual agreement is entered into between you and AfPP, when acceptance of your offer is generated by the Website. For the avoidance of doubt, AfPP is under no obligation to accept any offer.
3. Your licence
3.1 Licence details. Your licence will be for twelve months and as you approach the twelfth month you will be sent a notification that your licence is due to end. If you do not wish to renew your licence you do not need to take any further action. However, if you wish to continue with your licence you will need to call us to pay prior to the end date of your licence.
3.2 Online Support. Your licence includes online support and contact details etc., can be found in the user manual.
3.3 Updates. Your licence includes quarterly updates which will be made in the background. Online notifications of when the updates are made will be shown on the digital platform.
4.1 Licence Prices. Your licence will be for twelve months, and the costs are as shown on the website. In consideration for the provision of goods, the purchaser shall have paid AfPP the correct price for their purchase.
4.2 VAT. The price is inclusive of VAT (if applicable).
5.1 Copyright. Everything contained on the digital platform, unless explicitly stated otherwise, is subject to a copyright held by AfPP. All intellectual property rights relating to AfPP remain with us and our suppliers. The wholesale reproduction or partial modification of the content is not permitted.
6. Data Protection
6.1 AfPP is the custodian of your data and is registered under the Data Protection Act 2018 and complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements.
6.2 When offering to enter into a contract with AfPP the Purchaser consents to AfPP and any third parties involved in fulfilling an Order, processing the Purchaser’s personal data to the extent necessary to fulfil that Order.
