The Face of AfPP Competition

Released on - 16/01/2020

The Face of AfPP Competition

Does your perioperative team go above and beyond to encourage good communication and create a positive culture within the operating theatre? Is everyone within the team treated equally and included no matter what stage of their career they are at?

If yes, you could be in with the chance of winning an AfPP safer surgery goody bag and becoming the face of AfPP!

As part of our Caring for those who Carecampaign, we’re giving seven lucky perioperative teams the chance to represent what true teamwork within the perioperative environment means, by sharing their efforts and becoming the face of AfPP.

Whether it’s an initiative you’ve developed, a process you’ve introduced, or a set of rules and guidelines, we want to hear about it and see it in action!

Prize details:

The seven lucky winners will be the teams who provide the best evidence of their team’s efforts to create a positive working environment, as well as submitting images that best represent what an inclusive perioperative team is.

Each winning team’s image will become the cover photo for The Association for Perioperative Practice’s social media accounts for one month in the run up to the 2020 AfPP Annual Conference in September.

What’s more, one overall winner will be announced at the conference and their image will then become the face of AfPP for the rest of the year.

All entries will also be available to view at the AfPP 2020 Annual Conference.

How to enter:

To enter, all you have to do is send us a short description of what steps you have taken to make the theatre environment a positive place to workalong a high-res image of your team that you feel is reflective of an all-inclusive perioperative team.

Entries open at 00.00am on Thursday 16th January 2020 and will close at midnight on 14th March.
