Our History
It’s been 60 years since AfPP was founded by Daisy Aris, MBE, a forward-thinking theatre nurse who had the idea of bringing together like-minded clinicians to collectively improve patient safety in the operating theatre environment.

Our Board
AfPP’s board is made up of AfPP members from the perioperative environment, including our President, CEO and trustees.
They work hard to support our members and make your voices heard.
Annual General Meeting
All independent paying members of AfPP are entitled to vote on the Association’s policy and direction.
You can either vote in person, at the AGM, or by a proxy vote.
