We’re passionate about patient safety and aim to support practitioners at every stage of their career. Read about AfPP’s range of awards and see if any of them grab your attention.
The application process is simple. AfPP decides who the recipients of the awards and bursaries are, and as long as you meet the criteria it could be you!
Volunteer Award
Up to £1,000 for individuals to share skills and knowledge with overseas volunteer organisations.
This award is given to two perioperative practitioners each year.
Novice Writer Award
Writers who have a first article published in the Journal of Perioperative Practice (JPP) between January and December are automatically entered by AfPP for this award.
The winner is selected by the review panel of the JPP.
Perioperative Team of the Year
Up to £2,000 educational bursary to be used by the team within an agreed 12 month period.
This award is for theatre teams of up to 15 individuals working in the perioperative environment.
First Time Attendee Award
AfPP are offering a limited number of free places to the AfPP Annual Conference for first time attendees.
You need to be an AfPP member to qualify.
Education and Research Fellowship Fund
A bursary of up to £2,000 is available to all AfPP members to assist with fees, research, study days, training courses and conferences.
A great opportunity to advance the study of perioperative practice and promote excellence.
