First Time Attendee Award
A chance to attend the AfPP Annual National Conference for free
AfPP release several first time attendee places for AfPP Annual National Conference each year. This is a great opportunity to attend AfPP’s flagship event for free if you’ve never been before.
Purpose of Award
- Members are encouraged to take learning back to their own working environment and share best practice within the rest of the team.
Criteria for Application
- Applicants must have been a member of AfPP for a minimum of 12 months and all membership fees must be up to date at the time of the conference taking place
- Applicants must NOT have attended an AfPP residential conference previously
- The award will cover delegate fees only; no assistance will be given for travel
- Those who receive the First Time Attendee Award may be contacted by the marketing team about your experience for possible publication in AfPP communications.
Awards monies will be paid to members in good faith, however, if a member should leave the Association in less than one year of receiving their award, they will be liable to refund the funds in full.
Application Deadline
- Monday 8th June 2026.
Terms & Conditions
- The ticket/s are not transferable.
- AfPP must be informed if the ticket is no longer required.
- If the applicant cancels their AfPP membership before the date of the conference, the ticket will be withdrawn.
- Current AfPP board members, are excluded from applying for awards or bursaries. This ensures that the award process remains unbiased and transparent.
