Taking place on the 8 – 9 August at the University of Warwick, this conference is one of the largest gatherings of perioperative professionals in the UK. Following the success of last year’s event, we are excited to return to Warwick to bring together professionals from all areas of perioperative practice.
The two-day AfPP Annual National Conference 2025 promises a dynamic lineup of insightful keynote speakers, expert-led workshops, packed exhibitor areas, and interactive sessions designed to inspire, inform, and empower attendees. A highlight of the event is the Gala Dinner, offering an evening of celebration, networking, and entertainment, and, of course, the chance to get dressed up.
2025 introduces two new exciting upgrades! As well as expanding the programme with an additional educational stream, 2025 will also launch the AfPP Annual National Conference App! The app ensures you never miss a moment, allowing delegates access to all the information they need direct to their phone.
Whether you are joining us for the entire conference or one of the two days, you will be treated to an experience that will leave you motivated and equipped with the latest in perioperative innovation and best practices. It’s also a brilliant chance to network, make new perioperative contacts, and have fun!
Last week, I attended The AfPP Annual Conference in Warwick, where I had the chance to network with professionals and fellow students in perioperative care. The diverse lectures and workshops offered valuable insights into best practices, emerging technologies, and patient care. Engaging with expert speakers and participating in hands-on sessions deepened my knowledge and inspired me to apply these insights in my studies and practice. I especially valued the discussions on patient safety, theatre efficiency, human factors, and civility. I thoroughly enjoyed the event and hope to attend again next year.
Whole weekend was excellent from start to finish, including facilities, food, the gala, the organisation was superb that must have taken a lot of skills for it to run so smoothly.
Meeting ex colleagues at the conference after 2 decades. So emotional. So special.
