Theatre Access Course
Is this course for you?
AfPP's Theatre Access Course is a professional qualification for medical device or pharmaceutical company representatives who are required to be present in operating theatres to provide technical support and expertise to the clinical team.
The course can also prove valuable for students hoping to gain insight into the intraoperative environment.

the knowledge and understanding needed to visit any area of theatre, including correct etiquette and the roles and responsibilities of members of the team
an awareness of the framework in which you can deliver training, sales or research
an awareness of AfPP's latest standards and recommendations governing behaviours within the operating theatre

How long will the qualification stay valid for?
The course is valid for two years, after which you will be required to complete a refresher module. You will be contacted by a member of our team when necessary.
Where is it held?
Either at AfPP HQ in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, or in your workplace (min 10 delegates required for onsite courses).
What does it cost?
£250+VAT for medical device representatives
£150+VAT for students
