Strike a Pose and Step into the Spotlight!

Your theatre team’s chance to feature on the front cover of AfPP’s new Staffing for Patients in the Perioperative Setting book

AfPP is inviting theatre teams across the UK to enter our photo competition for the chance to appear on the front cover of AfPP’s new Staffing for Patients in the Perioperative Setting book.

This is a brilliant opportunity to celebrate your team, showcase the professionalism and pride of perioperative practice, and be recognised for the vital role you play in making surgery and patient care safer.

What we’re looking for

• A professional, high-quality portrait photo of your whole theatre team.
• An image that reflects teamwork, and captures the spirit and pride of your team.

Please make sure your team:

• Wears theatre attire
• Follows bare below the elbows guidance, if appropriate to the image
• Ensures hair is fully covered, if appropriate to the image

Please also ensure that everyone in the image has given permission for their photo to be used.

Please avoid:

• Jewellery (including earrings, rings and watches)
• Nail varnish, gel nails or false nails
• Masks worn incorrectly (e.g. around the neck)

These standards are essential to make sure your photo reflects best practice and has the chance of being selected for the front cover.
