The Regional Lead plays a pivotal role in supporting the Association for Perioperative Practice (AfPP) by leading a regional team to promote education & networking. The Regional Lead ensures the delivery of high-quality regional activities, including study days, while fostering collaborative and inclusive team environments. The Regional Lead facilitates education, enhances networking opportunities, and ensures a continuing regional AfPP presence.
Our volunteers play a vital role in helping us to advance patient safety in operating departments across the UK. As a Link Member you can help us achieve this by increasing awareness of our membership benefits and sharing your knowledge and experience with your perioperative colleagues.
The Specialist Interest Group (SIG) lead plays a pivotal role in supporting the Association for Perioperative Practice (AfPP) by leading and coordinating the activities of the SIG and online Forum.
Fostering professional engagement, facilitating networking opportunities, supporting members and promoting high standards of perioperative practice.
The role will include leading the online forum, sharing specialised knowledge and exchanging ideas as topic moderators (posting new topics weekly), and managing topic threads by encouraging member activity.
We are looking for a Surgical Care Practitioner with strong Urology or Gynaecology experience to join our Theatres at The Princess Grace Hospital currently rated “Good” by the CQC. The theatres across our facilities, provide a vibrant, exciting and professional environment where the advance equipment and technology is second to none.
